Custom grip panels are available in a variety of materials including fancy figured wood, micarta, ivorex, stag, ivory, and horn.
Holsters We work with some of the best single action leather craftsman in the country and can help you determine the style of holster that will best fit your needs and compliment your single action revolver. The services of top quality holster craftsmen are very much in demand and will therefore have a higher price and several weeks waiting time. There are some large holster manufacturers, such as Galco, Bianchi, and Safariland, who produce single action rigs for a reasonable price.
If we order your custom leather in conjunction with performing work on your revolver, we can normally have your holster ready to ship with your gun. In most cases, this will save you money on the price of your holster.
Ruger Blackhawk and Super Blackhawk Revolver Sights We offer a variety of replacement front and rear sights, which are a better alternative to the sights that came on your revolver.

Replacement Fixed Rear Sight - $95 plus ammunition cost This is very sturdy and has a superb sight picture. This sight must be fitted to your revolver and can be regulated for any given load. This replacement is intended for those of you who need a sturdy sight and are familiar with the loads that you plan to shoot. We custom manufacture these sights and regulate for your load
Options on front sights (silhouette type sights) are available to fit your particular needs - Prices range from $95 to $195
Ruger Single Action Parts We maintain a large selection of Ruger Single Action parts which are available at the normal Ruger retail price. Doing conversions on both new and old model revolvers gives us access to the sometimes hard-to-find parts.
Our shop is also capable of manufacturing cylinders and barrels for these revolvers, although the cost of a custom made cylinder or barrel may be prohibitive.
All of these parts are available on an installed basis only. Please bear in mind; we do not have the personnel to handle large numbers of parts orders.
Ruger Vaquero Revolvers We often receive requests about regulating the sights on the Vaquero series of Ruger revolvers. We can regulate your sights with a specific load and guarantee the revolver will shoot to point of aim.
We adjust the sights using a six o’clock hold on an NRA 25 yard slow fire pistol target. The revolver is fired at 25 yards from a machine rest and from a standing position. We accomplish this by indexing the front sight in proper alignment with the rear notch, not by bending the front blade. We correct the elevation at the same time, assuring your revolver will hit where you are aiming.
This service requires you to specify the load you intend to use. If you are using factory ammunition, we can supply the ammunition at an additional cost. If you are using a hand-load, we will need all of the pertinent load information and at least 50 of the bullets you intend to use. Do not send loaded ammunition with your revolver. We will be glad to assemble reloads using your load data if it is a safe and reasonable load. You can send factory ammunition, but it should be sent in a separate package. The charge for this service is $95 plus ammunition costs.
It is important to realize your revolver will be regulated for the ammunition you have designated and may or may not be regulated properly if you decide to change your load.
Five Shot Conversions We offer five shot conversions on Ruger Single Action revolvers. These caliber conversions are available as special order revolvers only. We do not offer cylinders or any other accessories other than those produced for guns assembled in this shop.
Our five shot conversions are available for the most powerful factory and Wildcat calibers available. These custom revolvers require exacting tolerances throughout the production and entire assembly. They are designed to properly withstand the recoil of the cartridges for which they are chambered.
Beginning with a new Ruger revolver, we will manufacture new cylinders, barrels, sights, ejector rods housings, etc. We produce these revolvers as total custom guns. These conversions are available in .44 magnum, .45 Colt, 475 and 500 Linebaugh, and various Wildcats. You have the option of sights, grip frame, grip material, finish, barrel length, caliber, etc - Base price $1,995
We also offer a conversion for those of you interested in changing the caliber of your revolver. We build many Flat Top Rugers into .44 Special and other appropriate calibers. For example, if you decide you would like a .32-20 caliber revolver, we can provide you with one by rebuilding your Blackhawk. We can provide you with an auxiliary .45 ACP cylinder for your .45 Colt revolver or an unfluted cylinder for your .45 caliber revolver. If your new project requires a new barrel, we can install a new match grade barrel. If budget constraints are a consideration, we may have a Ruger factory barrel in stock that will fit your needs. Non-standard calibers are available for those of you wishing for something unusual. This, of course, must be limited to safe and practical conversions.
Prices on most conversions consisting of a re-chambering and barrel installation will start at approximately $550. Wildcat cartridges will cost considerably more. Keep in mind, except for a few exceptions, bottle neck cartridges do not work very well in revolvers.
50th Anniversary New Model .357 Conversions to .44 Special We have acquired several 50th Anniversary new model Flat Top .357 revolvers for the purpose of converting them to .44 specials. The conversion consists of re-chambering the factory cylinder and installing a Douglas barrel 4 5/8" in length. We install a custom front sight of the proper height and shape, install our oversize base pin, and do an action job. Policies and Conditions Pricing - Prices on this website reflect work to be done on guns received assembled, complete, and in good working order. Guns received in unsafe or unsatisfactory condition due to wear or previous work may need replacement parts to be fitted and tested at an additional cost.
Tooling and Parts - As in any machine shop, special tooling costs will be charged to the customer. Items that will be used repeatedly will be prorated and the balance credited to your account. In order to keep reasonable prices and simplify delivery, unused parts will not be returned to the customer unless specifically requested.
Orders - We are a small custom shop and operate on a first come, first serve basis. Our turnaround time is presently running from several weeks to several months, depending on the complexity of the project, materials availability, etc. Complete custom guns will take a greater amount of time to complete. A letter should be included with the gun stating the make, model, serial number, your complete mailing address, a detailed description of what you want done, and a phone number. We must have your letter and deposit on file before we can project a completion date. If you decide to change your order after we receive it, we can oblige you providing that work is not under way. You can, however, expect some additional cost and delay to accompany repeated changes.
Payment When sending an order or a gun, a 50% deposit is required to start the project. If your project is extensive or expensive, we would like to help. A payment schedule can be arranged, making it more affordable, or to help hide it from your wife. Be that as it may, payment in full is required before we can deliver the completed project.
Shipping Your Gun The law allows you to ship your gun directly to us for service or repair and for us to send it directly to you upon completion. The gun’s original box provides good protection but any package that prevents movement and cushions the gun will suffice. Do not send any accessories which are not directly related to the work being done. If these items are necessary, be sure to include a list of all accessories included with the gun - scope mounts, rings, magazines, bipods, sling swivels, cases, ammo pouches, etc. Don’t forget to insure the package for full replacement value. If you are sending a gun and ammunition, send them in separate packages.
Once again, please include a day-time phone number; we may need to verify instructions, notify you of issues, or relate a particularly funny joke.
